Since Thursday’s fire in the Channel Tunnel, SeaFrance has
been doing its utmost to assist travellers and help to improve the traffic flow
between France and the UK.

SeaFrance Nord Pas de Calais 50,000 crossings – 50 times around the earth

The SeaFrance Nord Pas de Calais, the freight ship of
the French Calais/Dover fleet, made her 50,000 crossing on Thursday 17th July
2008, leaving the Port of Dover at 1440hrs local time ( 1540 hrs French time).

After sailing between Scotland and Belgium (Rosyth-Zeebruge) under the name
Superfast X, then in the waters of Greece under the name Jean Nicoli, the ship
is joining the SeaFrance fleet where she will sail under the French
flag.
