Since Thursday’s fire in the Channel Tunnel, SeaFrance has been doing its utmost to assist travellers and help to improve the traffic flow between France and the UK.

The SeaFrance Molière, the first cross-Channel vessel more than 200 metres in length, made her first commercial sailing between Calais and Dover on Tuesday 19th August 2008. 

The SeaFrance Molière, the first ferry more than 200 metres long in service on the Channel, sailed into Calais harbour on Wednesday 6th August 2008.                                                                                           

The SeaFrance Nord Pas de Calais, the freight ship of the French Calais/Dover fleet, made her 50,000 crossing on Thursday 17th July 2008, leaving the Port of Dover at 1440hrs local time ( 1540 hrs French time).
