We are very happy to
offer
the unaccompanied trailer service on all of the SeaFrance fleet.
Drivers delivering and collecting trailers will
firstly need to obtain a Dock pass. If you are a regular visitor to the
port you may apply for a permanent pass (photo identification is required
to do this). Application forms can be obtained from
the
police station just inside the entrance of the Eastern Docks.
Temporary visitor passes can also be obtained here as well. Once you
have obtained your vistor pass you will need to follow the freight vehicle
route into the port and stop at the weigh-bridges to weigh your
vehicle.
Follow the signs to the Cargo Terminal. After passing through the East
security gate you will need to visit the SeaFrance desk located in the
Driver's Reception building on your right hand side.

Please park your vehicle in a marked parking bay.If you are deliverying a trailer you will be required to produce your
tractor and trailer number, your dock pass, loading papers (if applicable)
and the weigh-bridge ticket. In addition to this you will need to complete
documents relating to the condition of the trailer and any defects need to
be stated.
For drivers collecting a trailer you will need the number of the
trailer of which you are there to collect. You will also need your dock
pass and passport. You will need to fill out a release form before we can
hand over responsibility.
Once you have the necessary papers you will need to rejoin your
vehicle and follow the signs to the unaccompanied Trailer Park (UTP), which
is located at the furthest point of the Eastern Dock past lane 220. To
enter the UTP you must use your dock pass and follow the instructions on
the intercom system.
