Grab some bargains, french delicacies and more besides in the Cité de l'Europe
shopping centre, just outside Calais. It's huge! Along with Tesco, you'll find Carrefour
hypermarket and high-street shops. Citi Europe offers a host of great shops where you can
buy good-value food and wine, Chanel perfume, and clothes from H&M at compact Les 4
Boulevards, whilst staying central to the Port.

Prepare for a workout. Climb 271 steps to the top of Calais' 19th century lighthouse for a
bird's-eye view over medieval Notre Dame church and the seaport. On a clear day you can even see
