France's national sporting arena, the Stade de France in Paris, has played host to some of the world's finest sporting contests. As reigning RBS Six Nations rugby champions, the French national team will be aiming to see off the challenges of Ireland, England and Italy in the coming weeks, particularly following England's semi-final defeat of Les Bleus in last year's World Cup - at the Stade de France. England's footballers will also hope that new coach Fabio Capello can inspire them to victory over old rivals, France, in March.

Old rivalries will be renewed between Europe's finest rugby playing nations.Triple Crown winners Ireland, World Cup finalists England and perennial championship underdogs Italy, will all pit their finest stars against the reigning Six Nations champions France at the Stade de France, Saint Denis. New England coach Fabio Capello will face his first real challenge of his reign against a strong France team. This match is England's final friendly before a tough European Championships qualifying campaign starts in September.
