Group Fares apply to groups of 10 or more passengers.
2.
Booking Confirmations, all bookings made are treated as provisional until
confirmed by the Operator. Unconfirmed bookings will be automatically cancelled 30 days
before the date of travel. Bookings made less than 30 days before travel must be confirmed
within 7 days of the booking being made. Customers with credit facilities can confirm
bookings by telephone. Bookings for cash agents and direct clients are confirmed upon receipt
of payment. Confirmation of final numbers travelling must include a full breakdown of adults,
youths and children.
3.
Deposits, SeaFrance reserves the right to request non-refundable deposits for
groups travelling on selected peak dates.
4.
Cancellations must be made in writing to SeaFrance Ltd. SeaFrance Ltd.
reserves the right to levy the following cancellation charges.

Refunds must be applied for in writing.
6.
Fare Calculations, for coach groups of up to 49 you only pay per passenger
(subject to the specified minimum charge). If passenger numbers total 50 or more, fares are
calculated on a per coach basis. If outward and return journeys are on different tariffs, add
together half of each applicable tariff.
7.
Excursion Fares, are valid for either 36 hours or 72 hours from the time of
arrival in Calais. The return journey must then be made no later than the sailing after 36
hours or 72 hours have elapsed. These fares only apply to groups originating in the UK,
travelling out and back with the same coach and the same number of passengers, otherwise the full
period return fare becomes payable.

Free Places, for foot passenger groups, one free place is allowed for every 30
fare paying passengers travelling.
9.
Coach Drivers/Couriers, are provided with a voucher for a subsidised drivers'
meal served in the restaurant. For groups of 27-49 passengers one driver courier is carried free of
charge.
10.
Checking In, groups should check-in at least 60 minutes before the scheduled
sailing time. Anyone arriving at the check-in point after this time may be refused permission to
embark. Please note, port security and immigration checks occur prior to check-in. If you miss your
sailing due to circumstances outside SeaFrance’s control, your reservation may be subject to a
surcharge payable at the port.
11.
Luggage Facilities, at the port of departure, luggage trolleys are available for
passengers not travelling by coach. The baggage will be taken on board and made available for
collection after disembarkation. Please advise at the time of booking.
12.
Passports, Visas & Immigration, a standard 10-year passport is required.
You are responsible for ensuring that everyone travelling is in possession of all necessary
documentation for admission to all countries you will visit or pass through and for re-entry into
the UK. You are liable to reimburse SeaFrance for any fines, charges or losses imposed by any
authority in relation to the absence of the necessary documentation at the port of
disembarkation.
13.
School & Youth Groups, these parties must be identified to us at the time of
booking and whilst on board must be under the care of leaders who will be held responsible for
their group’s behaviour at all times. Children and juveniles under the age of seventeen are not
entitled to purchase tobacco and alcohol.
14.
Supporter Groups, special conditions apply to bookings for groups of supporters, a
copy of which is available on request. The Operator is responsible at all times for the
conduct of such groups.
15.
Insurance, it is recommended that all passengers have adequate insurance
cover. Please contact our Group Travel Consultants on 0871 22 22 800.

Fuel & other supplements, SeaFrance reserve the right to charge a supplement
during periods of unexpected major increases in fuel prices and/or other operating costs. Any such
supplement will be payable prior to departure.
17.
Passenger Numbers, must be conformed no later than 5 days before travel . No
reduction in price will be made in the case of significant reductions advised at check-in. A
significant increase advised at check-in may, at busy times, result in the coach being delayed
until a later sailing with sufficient passenger capacity.
18.
Disabled Passengers, we are pleased to welcome passengers who require assistance
at the ports or on board our ships and special arrangements can be made by contacting our Group
Reservations Department. We request that passengers requiring special assistance, check-in no
later than 1 hour before the published departure time.
19.
Passenger Listings, we are legally required to record the name, age group and
gender of each passenger, along with the details of any special care or assistance needs. A “
Passenger Listing” form must be completed by you before arrival at the port and presented at
Check-In. Failure to provide this could cause delays and may even result in passengers
missing their booked sailing. A copy of the “Passenger Listing” form is required for each
individual crossing, copies can be obtained from our Group Reservations Department.
20.
Booking Responsibilities, the passenger shall be liable to and shall reimburse
SeaFrance for all damage to vessels, their furnishings and equipment or any property of SeaFrance
caused directly or indirectly in whole or in part by any willful or negligent act or omission on
the part of the passenger. The passenger shall indemnify SeaFrance and each or all of its
agents and servants against any liability whatsoever that SeaFrance or such agents or servants may
incur towards any person or persons or company or governments for any personal injury or death,
loss or damage to property caused directly or indirectly in whole or in part by any willful or
negligent act or omission on the part if the passenger.
21.
Accuracy, the information shown is correct at October 2007 and supersedes any
previous offers. However, we reserve the right to change any particulars before accepting
your booking on the basis that we will advise you of any relevant changes before the booking is
accepted.
22.
Conditions of Carriage, passengers, their luggage and vehicles are carried subject
to the Conditions of Carriage of SeaFrance Ltd., together with the provisions of the Athens
Convention and the Loi Française du 18 Juin 1966, which limit the carrier's liability for death,
illness or injury or for damage to or loss of vehicle and luggage or for delay or deviation. Copies
of these conditions are available upon request. The Operator is required to bring to the
attention of all group passengers the Conditions of Carriage of SeaFrance Ltd., and the terms of
the statutory notices. If a failure by the Operator to fulfill these obligations results in
SeaFrance Ltd., being unable to rely on the limits of liability for injury to passengers and the
loss of or damage to property contained in the conditions, then the Operator will be obliged to
reimburse SeaFrance Ltd, for all additional amounts payable to passengers. The contract of
which these conditions form part shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law
and any disputes there under shall be determined in England to the exclusion of any other
courts.
